Hi I'm Shayli

I grew up in Hawai'i. I'm a college student now on a mission in Kobe, Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Hawai'i, and flew across the country to study in Virginia. I play soccer, and I love Japanese TV Shows. I am currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Japan Kobe Mission. The Japanese people are amazing, and I love being able to serve them every single day!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is Christ's church. I would not be who I am today without The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Being a Mormon has helped me through trials, and has helped me gain a stronger testimony. This church has brought light into my life when I only felt darkness. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and my Father in Heaven, and I want to return to them again one day.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the simple things. "Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise" -Alma 37:6. I try my best to be better every day, and show love to everyone I meet.
