Hi I'm Annika

I'm a pianist. I study Art History in college. I love to travel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

There are so many things that I enjoy doing. I love playing sports, playing the piano, going to school, drawing, painting, travelling just about anywhere, discussing important issues, reading, watching movies, singing in choirs, taking tests, driving, people-watching, participating in politics, hanging out with friends, and so much more. I'm currently a college student and I just finished up a year and a half mission for my church, which was an incredible experience.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I grew up Mormon, I had to discover what I believed for myself. I definitely had a lot of questions and doubts for a time and I researched them out. It wasn't until I started taking leaps of faith that I really found my testimony. I started to act upon the things I had been taught with a real intent to know, and after a long process of peeling back layers of doubt I now know without a doubt what is true. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that the authority of God is found within this church that Christ restored through a prophet. I also know that there is a lot of confusion in the world and a lot of questions. I think questions are good. Questions, if they lead towards a journey of learning are fantastic. It is through this method of questioning and finding that I have come to where I am at spiritually. I am so happy to be a Mormon and I look forward to continually building my faith in Christ for the rest of my life.

How I live my faith

For the past 18 months of my life I served a Spanish speaking mission in Northern California and it was amazing. I got to teach people about the Jesus Christ and about His restored church on the earth. I also got to do a lot of community and personal service for people, which brings me so much joy.
