Hi I'm Blake Kelso

I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a beatboxer, dancer, and singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest son of three children. I have two older sisters, two younger step sisters, and one younger step brother. I have lived in Utah my whole life and was born and raised into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Throughout my life I was never very good at sports, and because of this I developed a love for performing. I was a part of all my school choirs, and when I was a senior in high school I made the vocal ensemble choir and got to perform in Disney Land that year. The style of music that I found I am the best at is beatboxing. I love good food. One of mine and my dad's favorite activities is to go to nice restaurants and try signature dishes. I grew up with a mom who loved fashion, and so that is something that I have become passionate about as well. I love movies, but I do not like movie theaters. Some of my favorite shows to watch are Criminal Minds, documentaries, and disney movies (but only because my girlfriend loves them). I love exploring the outdoors. A few years back I purchased a hammock which I love to take up with me when I go hiking. Last thing about me, I am currently preparing to serve a mission and I will be serving in the Santa Rosa, California mission. I am beyond excited and nervous to serve a mission, but I can't wait to get out there.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born a mormon my faith has been tested and solidified through trials. My religion has been a rock for me through hard times and has given me hope where there was none.

How I live my faith

The current way I am living my faith is by preparing to serve a full time mission. The preparation process has been stressful, difficult, and wonderful. Although I am nervous, I will trust in the Lord and be an instrument in his hands.
