Hi I'm Stewart Weight

I'm a missionary, I love my Savior, & I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm nineteen years old, currently serving a mission. I enjoy art & soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this Church to be true, I know that Christ is at the head of it, & I know that our Heavenly Father lives, wants us to return to him, & loves us.

How I live my faith

I strive to keep the standards expected of me as a missionary, I heed the council of my mission president, & I strive to emulate the charitable love of our Savior.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Stewart Weight
Joseph Smith gave an answer to this in a letter, which became the Articles of Faith. The Church to me personally is God's organization on the earth to get us to live righteously so we can return to him again. As it says in Moses 1:39, as the Lord speaks to Moses; "For behold, this is my work and my glory---to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." The definition of eternal life to us being to live forever in the presence of God. Show more Show less

What is the priesthood?

Stewart Weight
The priesthood is the power of God used by his authority on this earth. It is the power through which all things were created, & it is only through living the commandments & taking part in certain ceremonies we call ordinances, which are done by this power that we can return to live with him again. Through this power miracles can be worked & lives blessed. Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Stewart Weight
Many of these things, actually all of them are addicting. Addictions are harmful to the body but also one's spirit, as they take away from our agency, which is our ability to choose. Though we keep this law because it is a commandment, & with all commandments we are obedient to we are blessed. Show more Show less
