Hi I'm Polly Beach

I have lived in Arizona my whole life, I come from a family of 9 children and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 5 children and 15 grandchildren. I worked as a office manager in Radiology Diagnostic Imaging Centers for 23 years. I am now retired and loving it. I love to sing primary songs. I love to watch movies and read. But I am the happiest when I am with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to goodly parents who loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They were good examples of truth, integrity and love. I have always had a testimony that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today. But it was not until later in my life in the 1990's after I went thru a few years of inactivity in the church that I was truly converted to the truths of the gospel, witnessed to me by the Holy Ghost. I feel my Heavenly Father and my Savior's love everyday. In August of 2005, My baby, 24 year old son was killed in a car accident. Knowing that families are eternal gave me peace. I know that I will see my son again. I felt closer to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ during that time than I had in all my life. I knew that I could pray to my Heavenly Father, crying on bended knee, and he would hear me and comfort me with peace. Sometimes it would be thru a feeling that came over me and sometimes I would receive comfort thru a friend or family member that the Lord would send to me. Now, I still miss my son terribly, it very hard. But as I look back, there were many miracles that happened during that time. I have peace that I will see my son again and live for eternity as a family. With the knowledge that I have of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints it gives me peace in my life and purpose for living. It give me direction in the choices that I make.

How I live my faith

As followers of Jesus Christ we are to live our lives as Jesus Christ lived his. I try to be a good example to those around me. I try to recognize when someone is in need and to do what I can do to help them. I try to have a positive attitude. I give to the poor or those in need thru my church. I have been a teacher in the gospel for the youth, ages 12-18 and 3-11. I have served in leadership positions in the youth organizations, planning weekly uplifting activities to help them be better followers of Christ and serving along side of them in serve projects in our community. I try to keep the commandments that Jesus Christ has given us, Search the Scriptures, learn of Jesus Christ, and Praying to my Heavenly Father morning and night for guidance and giving thanks for all the blessing that he has given me.
