Hi I'm Jacob

I was born in Montana, but raised in Kansas. I love to hang with my friends, swim, and play trombone. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 kids. We moved all around the US because my father was in the Air Force. I've spent most of my life trying new things. I have played sports in school and have played the trombone since 5th grade. In my free time I usually hang out with my friends and/or play video games or start/complete wood working projects. I'm currently putting college on hold to serve a mission in Japan. When I return home, I hope to get a degree in Health Management and maybe join the Air Force like my dad did.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the message this church has, brings me peace and joy. Though I was born into the church, I have had ample opportunities to find the truth of what is taught on my own. There have been many times where I have felt hopeless and lost. Pain is very real and the older you get, the more you learn about loss, pain, and regret. However, I have reached out to God in my times of need and I have been blessed with peace. Because of that, I have been able to turn my life into something greater and have become a better, more positive person because of it. The principles of the LDS church make sense to me and I believe that they are true. Our Heavenly Father's plan for us is amazing and I am so blessed and happy to know that he hears our prayers.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the LDS church has brought me so much happiness. It has shaped me to be who I am today. It has taught me how to be a better person and how to help those around me. Because of that, I strive to be there when people need me and support my friends and those in my community. One of my church responsibilities is being the chorister for the church in my community. This means that I get to conduct the music at church on Sundays. This is perfect for me because I was in band and in choir for most of my school career.
