Hi I'm Jaren Garff

I grew up in the United States. I play lacrosse, sing and love the Church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just got back from my freshman year at college and I'm heading out on a mission. I sang in the men's chorus last year and went to pretty much every single sports game that was held on campus (I especially loved the football and basketball games). I love to hang out with my friends and find new places to explore.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into and grew up in the church, but I realized a couple of years ago that I truly had to gain my own testimony and start preparing for a mission. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know of its truthfulness. I believe that I got a resounding answer from the Holy Ghost that this book, and the church that holds it up, is 100% true. I love the church and believe wholeheartedly in its teachings. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and a Savior that will save me no matter how far off the path I may stray. I'm grateful for my opportunity to grow up in the church and look forward to teaching others about this gospel that has brought my such joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by abiding by the commandments that have been sent to us from God. I listen to the words of the prophet and the apostles and try my best to live righteously. Sure, I make mistakes like everyone else, but I know that through my Savior I can be forgiven fully and completely. I love to participate in service projects, and thanks to the church I have found a ton of opportunities to serve those in my ward and community.
