Hi I'm Brayden Frost

I grew up in Washington my whole life, have been known to be quite the adventurer, and I really enjoy the outdoors. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I like to do adventurous things and love to be in the outdoors. I like to drum and have been drumming since I was in 5th grade. I have recently graduated from high school and am serving a mission in Mexico. I am teaching the good people here about my religion and how it has changed my life. I'm a person who likes to be active and always likes to be doing something fun! I also really enjoy being around friends and family and enjoy the bonds I have made with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad has not always been a member of this church although was supportive of my mom and I going. He would come to church with us even though he wasn't a member and held a calling before he was baptized. It took him 6 years to decide that this was right and shortly thereafter he was able to baptize me when I turned 8 years old. My mom has been a member since she was little, but had been inactive for a time before I was born. Once I was born however, she knew that she wanted to raise me in the gospel and made the conscious decision to go back for good. I have been a member of this church since I was 18 months or practically my entire life and through my younger years I have relied on the testimonies of my parents to get me by. Now that I am older and have my own choices though, I have decided for myself that this is the place I know I need to be. I have prayed about this church and have prayed about the Book of Mormon to know of its truth and validity and I know without a doubt that both are true. This does not mean that I don't or won't have questions about my church ever, but as I have heard it before, "doubt your doubts before you doubt your faith".

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving the people of Mexico as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and am teaching them what I know about my faith. My faith is very important to me because it makes me who I am today and helps me daily to do those things that I have been taught are right. As members of this church we are always striving to come closer to Christ and I know that faith encourages us to do this. For me I strive to have a good relationship with God through sencere prayer and I really believe that this helps to strengthen my faith. Although life can be hard sometimes, putting our trust in the Lord through faith will allow us to live better lives. Living this kind of a lifestyle doesn´t eliminate stuggles and challenges, but it helps us to know how we can handle them and who we can turn to for help (Christ). My main purpose as a member is to try and live as best I can in this life so when I return to my Father in Heaven I will be able to live with him for eternity. That is what this life is all about. Preparing ourselves to live in the presence of God again. Right now as a missionary I am trying to share the happiness I have found in living the principles of this Gospel. I want them to have what I have and want them to feel the peace and joy I have felt by stiving to live as Christ did.
