Hi I'm Dillon

I grew up in Oklahoma, It took me til i was 25 years old to finally read the book of Mormon and gain a testimony.Im a Mormon.

About Me

Hello my name is Dillon Im 26 years old and I'm leaving tomorrow morning to serve a two year mission in Jackson, Mississippi. I've been an inactive member most of life but just a little over a year ago I found myself in the lowest place of my life that I have ever been in. I would have long talks with my mom when I could and she would tell me to just pray and ask Heavenly Father what to do. So I did, then I started to read the Book of Mormon and then I started going to church with my grandma which was a four hour round trip for me. I felt my testimony growing stronger each day til I finally had a deep urge to go serve the Lord. I will forever be grateful for the power of prayer and the power of faith that was as small as a mustard seed before I started feeling the Holy Ghost manifesting the truth of the gospel to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it means I have the fullness of the only true gospel. I love that we have a living prophet that leads and guides our church. I love the name of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.....the name says it all, no other church on this earth can give one a more clearer and beautiful testament of Christ than this. The Book of Mormon will help you gain an even stronger faith and love for Christ than any book on this earth. I will forever be grateful that I am blessed to have the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying everyday and night, I read in the Book of Mormon everyday as well as other LDS teaching manuals and books, my faith continues to grow and so has the love for my Heavenly Father. Before I didn't really know what the word of wisdom was, I thought it was not to drink alcohol, smoke or drugs but after finding out it was also tea and coffee as well (which I would consumed daily) I stopped that as well. I am so excited to get the opportunity to go share my testimony to others and help those that may be in a similar predicament as mine and help them find God's love for them help them learn about the true gospel.
