Hi I'm McKayla Redfearn

I am from Santa Clara, Utah. I am currently serving in the Canada Montréal Mission. I play the piano and the cello. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I've played the piano for 15 years, the cello for 7. I teach piano to 11 students. I love to be outdoors, hunting, hiking, fishing, whatever I can do. I enjoy being with my friends and family. I love reading, any kind of book! I am currently serving as a missionary in the Canada Montréal Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member from the day I decided to be baptized, and it is something that I will never regret. I grew up in the Church but I really was able to gain my own personal testimony of it's truthfulness. It has changed my life and continues to be a blessing for me in all aspects of my life. The Book of Mormon has truly allowed me to develop a closer and more personal relationship with God and with my Savior Jesus Christ. Through it I have been able to learn more about who the Savior is and what His sacrifice means to me personally. The Atonement of Jesus Christ, His sacrifice, has allowed me to become the person I am today, and allows me the beautiful opportunity to develop and progress to become an even better person. I have learned about who I am as a child of God, and who I have the potential to become. It has shaped my life, and I am forever grateful for it. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, because I have gained the personal witness for myself. I have seen how being a member has influenced my decisions and I know that I would not be where I am today without it. The morales and truths that I have learned are so important to me. They are a part of me. I love my Savior and I choose to follow Him and I know that He is the one who guides and directs this Church today. I am eternally grateful to Him and his matchless love for me and for the blessings that I have seen as a result of following Him. I know without a doubt that this is His Church on the earth today and that there is a living prophet on the earth who receives direct revelation to help guide us through. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have read it myself and the truths that I have learned from it are so precious to me. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for the LDS church. I was the organist for my ward for 3 years. I was the 2nd Attendant for my town's royalty and have done a lot of service throughout my community which allowed me to develop a love of other people. I have done a lot of service for my community through music. I have performed all over my state playing for many different people. Through music I have been given many opportunities to share why I believe what I believe.
