Hi I'm Jairus Wayne Anderson

Grew up in Rose Park, UT, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I lived in Salt Lake for 18 years. Moved to St. George for three years. Moved to Florida for School. Graduated with an Associates of Science in Golf Management. Moved back to St. George for work, didn't like the field I was working in, moved to Texas to work in the Oil Feilds as A Cook then later on as a Mechanic for on-site maintenance. While I was on break from the Oil fields I Got my hair cut from the most beautiful girl I have seen and Married her two years later. Now we are back in school, and I am currently studying Civil Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

While Growing up, My family was involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS, Or Mormon's). I was the type of child that Didn't like church, and would always be found either walking around the church or back at home during church meetings. As I got older, 15-16 years old, I fell away from the church. It wasn't till I was working in the oil fields when I realised that the life I was living was not a life I wanted. I did A lot of praying and reading on what little time I had when I got off. After about a year of working in the oil fields, I decided that for me to change, I needed to change my environment. So I gave my two weeks noticed and without knowing what would be in stored, I headed back home. While I was working in the oil fields, I met a beautiful young lady, who is now my wife. It took a lot of faith and hoped to change from the person I was to the Priesthood Magnifier that I am now; I owe it to my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, The Holy Ghost, my Wife, my Mother & Father, my past Bishop, Missionary couple, and a loving friend. I have a testimony that this Church is the true church of Jesus Christ. I also have a testimony that Jesus walked on this Earth, healed the sick, raised the dead my for sins, so I may have a savior so I can return to our Heavenly Parents.

How I live my faith

I'm currently a member of the bishopric as a Ward Clerk. I oversee the membership Clerk and Fiance Clerk.
