Hi I'm Tanner Pabst

I live in the south. Enjoy the outdoors, making memories with family and helping others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Lifeguard and swim instructor at the local YMCA. I enjoy athletic activities and lifting weights. Family is a big part of my life and I do all I can to make them proud

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But that doesn't mean I don't have a conversion story. I relied and trusted in my parents testimony most of my childhood, however when I reached my teenage years I began to question things, including the church at times. Upon hearing a talk given during General Conference on the topic of testimonies, I felt the need to fervently pray and ponder on the teachings of the church. I was then prompted to read the Book of Mormon all the way through, from cover to cover. When I finished reading it, I knew in my heart that it was true. I continued to pray and ask for reassurance and soon got an answer. I felt great peace and comfort and knew that the church was true. No one can ever take that feeling from me and I can't ever deny it.

How I live my faith

I am an Elder and serve as the chorister in my ward. I will be serving a mission to Mexico in the coming months and I am really excited to serve the people there! I have really grown spiritually through scripture study and prayer in preparation for my mission. I can also testify of the effect music has on you and how it influences your choices. I enjoy wide ranges of music but have found that uplifting and clean music makes you all the more happier and allows you to be more in tune with the Holy Ghost.
