Hi I'm Alyssa Higley

I'm a teenage girl trying to find herself in a big world. I love Texas with all my heart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

High school, basketball, and church activities take my time and I'm okay with that. I love sharing my testimony and feelings through music and actions. Laughing and smiling are my favorite time passers and I love making others do the same.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the church is true and that we have a Father in heaven that loves each and everyone of us dearly. Being surrounded by other youth at EFY, the spirit was especially strong and I learned just how much my Heavenly Father loves me and that I am His child. Christ was sent to Earth to be crucified. To suffer for our sins, each and every one. He felt unimaginable pain and sorrow so we could be gifted with the grace of God and repentance. I know he listens to every word in every prayer and gives us the answers we need.

How I live my faith

I surround myself with those who will help me keep my standards and by participating in activities such as mutual, church, girls camp, and EFY. The biggest foundation in living my faith is kneeling in earnest prayer to my Heavenly Father with any concern, doubt, fear, or expression of gratitude.

What is faith?
