Hi I'm Landon Larry Lawrence

I grew up in Orem Utah. I am serving a mission in Taiwan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 6 siblings, I have 8 nieces and nephews, and my parents are divorced. I just graduated High school and am going on a mission to Taiwan Taipei. In High School I played on the basketball team and loved that. I also played on the golf team and am going to golf in college after my mission. I love to travel and some of my favorite places include Alaska going deep sea fishing, Boston going to watch the Celtics and the Red Sox play and my favorite place is Lake Powell. I usually spend a couple weeks a summer down there on our houseboat. I love boating, swimming, long boarding, and hanging out with friends. I am going to serve a mission in Taiwan and am learning mandarin.

Why I am a Mormon

There are a couple of reasons I am a Mormon one is because I love the way it makes me feel, it is so easy to be happy and to find joy in everything we have. I also am a Mormon because I know that the atonement can help each of us to become better people in every way wherever we fall short. Another blessing of being a Mormon is the knowledge that we know we can live with our families forever. And one of my favorite things is the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost to guide, help and comfort us whenever we need help.

How I live my faith

In the church I have served in many presidency positions. One of my favorite callings was as a home teacher. My dad and I were assigned 2 families to watch over and teach, we had the opportunity to serve them by shoveling snow, doing yard work and taking them meals. It was really awesome to get to know them and to learn to love this calling. I have also served as a Sunday school teacher, where I got to teach the younger teenagers about the gospel and the blessings it can bring into each of our lives. And now I have been called to serve a mission in the Taiwan Taipei mission and am very excited about that.
