Hi I'm Emily

If you can't find me outside hiking a mountain, try the library...or the dance studio. I love God and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a full time mission in the Orlando, Florida mission! I'm a student at Utah State University where I'm studying to be a Secondary English Education major. I did ballet and modern dance for years, and truly believe God gave us feet to dance and express what words simply cannot. I also have a passion for the fine arts and Shakespeare. I love learning since "knowledge is the wing wherewith we fly to heaven."

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this church! I’ve had the opportunity to have the church be apart of my life since day one and I feel so blessed because of that. I know that God loves us so much that he had this gospel restored upon the earth so that we could live with him again. I’ve been time in sincere prayer to my Father in Heaven asking if this church is true and I know without a doubt that it is. There is no way that the joy, peace, and love this gospel provides could not be from God. As I said before, I love and know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

My faith is something more than just waking up on Sunday morning 30 minutes before church and sliding into the pew right before the service starts. My faith has woven itself into who I am and how I choose to live my life. Since I was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I have the privilege and responsibility to live my life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I contastly pray that my eyes may be opened to opportunities around me that I may lift and help others. I pray for strength to choose joy in my trials and gratitude in all things. My faith means everything to me because it's my personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and nothing can or will replace that.
