Hi I'm Colton Rigby

I am a wrestler, I am a hard worker, I love talking to people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Served an LDS mission in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission, where what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Wrestled at Mountain View high school, and was a Greco-Roman state champion. Grew up in a family of 6, the youngest of 4 kids. Have very loving parents and siblings! I look up to them and the example that they have set for me each and every day!

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the mormon religion and I have come to know that it is the true church through prayer, scripture study, and real intent of learning. I always went through the motions as a kid mostly to keep my parents happy, but there was always something else keeping me with it. Once I served a mission, that's when I received my true conversion of the gospel. I believe that even if you were born into the gospel, you have to be converted eventually. You have to come to the truth. Everyone does.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as best as I can, serving those around me. I served a mission, trying to bring people to Christ. I try to set a good example for my friends and family, and everyone around me by keeping the commandments of God, and doing my best in my every day life!

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Colton Rigby
I am trying to prepare to build my family, and support them, and bring them into this gospel. This gospel brings so much joy and truth into our lives. As I continue to keep my family involved, and as I help my friends and people I meet to become more involved, I help others to find this truth. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Colton Rigby
Not everyone has the opportunity in this life to come to the knowledge and truth of Jesus Christ. That is why we perform proxy baptisms, to give those who didn't have the opportunity, the chance to be baptized. Though they are deceased, the still can choose to accept this proxy baptism while they are in the spirit world. Show more Show less
