Hi I'm Jacob

I am musically talented! I am going to be a missionary!

About Me

I play the bagpipes, trumpet, and I sing classically. In high school, I was in almost ever single group in the music department. I also did solo competitions for bagpipes. I like to read fiction and history. I've been out of high school and working for a year so I can serve a mission and then go to school. I am going to be serving in Boise Idaho and then go to BYU-I for school!

Why I am a Mormon

As I have been preparing to serve a mission, I have attended many missionary prep classes. We discuss and learn about where we come from, why are we here, what is our role as children of God, and how we can find people who have a desire to know these things. In every lesson, there is always a sense of peace and comfort. When I have that feeling I don’t want to leave the room; I want the lesson to keep on going. Along with that, I feel joy from everything that I learn. After all of that, I ask myself, “From what I feel, how can this not be true”? I am a Mormon because the sense of peace and joy that I feel tells me that this is the truth. I look forward to sharing the gospel with the people of Boise Idaho and I hope that they feel the same peace that I do.

How I live my faith

I try try share the gospel with my friends and act as an example for them. Though many of friends do not share the same beliefs or standards as me, I always try to share with them what I believe and encourage them to live higher standards.
