Hi I'm Cassie

I was born and raised in Southern Utah. I am going to a University to major in nursing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy running and I was on my high school cross country and track team. I love the outdoors, camping, four-wheeling, and boating. My family is very close and we do many fun things together. I am going to a university to major in nursing. I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints in the Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I was born and raised in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have learned through experiences and through my own study, prayer, and fasting that the Gospel is true and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I read the scriptures daily and hearken to the words of the Prophet. I attended seminary all throughout high school and I took Institute classes while attending college, these classes have helped me grow a deeper understanding of the gospel. I cannot deny what I know is true, and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church restored on the earth by the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that as we place our trust in Christ that we will find comfort and peace. The atonement was done for us, so we can repent and live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. As I read the scriptures and pray to know of the truth of the Book of Mormon, I have come to know through the power of the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true and that we are not alone. I know that I am a child of God and I am so grateful for the gospel in my life.

How I live my faith

I love the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and I am very active in my ward. My current calling is the primary. I teach CTR 6. I learn lots by preparing to teach the primary children through study and prayer. The Children's testimonies are growing and it's amazing to watch them grow their testimony and they help teach me too. I have also had callings in young women's, and as a Special Needs Mutual councilor. I go visiting teaching with my mother every month. My family is very active in our ward and we help out with lots of events that we have. I work in the Temple once a week and I go to the temple with my grandmother every Tuesday. The Church is very important to me, and as I go to church and participate in my callings, my testimony has grown and it has helped me prepare for serving a mission.
