Hi I'm Trish

I love old swing music. I love basketball and foosball. I am a college student. I am a missionary in Latvia. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up around the world living in Ecuador, Ukraine and Washington D.C in the United States. Through it all I have been with my family and had many adventures. I am serving a mission now and my family lives in Belgium. I love to read and my favorite book is Emma by Jane Austen. My favorite movie is Kenneth Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing. I adore playing foosball, basketball and volleyball and I just generally love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to two parents who are members of the church, so I have always been a Mormon. I am grateful everyday for this because it means that I have been able to watch all the blessings that following Christ has brought my entire life. I was told as a child to read from the Bible and the Book of Mormon regularly and as I have, I have felt peace in my life. One day when I was 12 years old I was reading the New Testament late at night in my room. Suddenly I had a feeling so strong that it was almost tangible and so powerful that I can't deny it. I had a God who loved me. The feeling was clear and brought deep peace and joy to me. I felt so loved that I could not stop smiling. I felt it so strongly that I wanted to tell everyone I knew. Since that amazing night, I have felt these feelings again as I continue to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have since asked God about this church and about the Book of Mormon. I know it is the true church of God because I have received answers to my prayers.

How I live my faith

I used to be a church pianist for kids. I was super scared when I was asked because I am not very good at the piano and I didn't know many songs. I practiced really hard every week and I was so grateful that the kids are sweet and forgiving of my mistakes. Now I am a full-time missionary serving in Latvia. I get to spend all day helping people find joy and peace through Jesus Christ and serving everyone.
