Hi I'm Dwight

I am a graduate of BYU-Idaho with a minor in Child Development and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family. I am the youngest of 9. I have always had a love for music growing up. With my dad being a band teacher we were required to learn an instrument of our choice. I started playing the piano when I was in 3rd grade. Once i got into middle school I learned the trombone. I love to travel. Eventually I would like to go to all 50 states. Family is very important to me. Without them I have no idea where I would be today. When my family gets to gets together sometimes we can have a little to much fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been told that there is something special about me. That I have the ability to love those that I come in contact with despite their differences from what I believe. I have been told that how I treat someone and love them will enable me to be a missionary and that those I come in contact with will be open to hearing the gospel. Everyday I wish I could go back and be a missionary again. But, I can be a missionary by treating those I come in contact with, with love. I try and live in a way that God wants me to live. But, we are all imperfect and fall short. But, God will ALWAYS Love us no matter what. If we feel that we don't deserve his love this is when we NEED him most. I encourage everyone that reads this to seek his Love and let Him in.

How I live my faith

Growing up I always had to rely on the testimonies of my family members and my teachers. It wasn't until I started preparing for a mission that I gained my testimony. I always believed that The Book of Mormon was true. But I did not Know that it was true until I read it. Took Moroni's promise and prayed about it. While serving as a missionary I had the opportunity to come in contact with many people and learn and teach them about the gospel. Each time I shared the First Vision with investigators my testimony grew. To this day I still cannot get through the Vision without getting emotional. I know everyone goes through trials. But, I know with what I learned on my mission has made me a better person. Someone that can make better judgements and decisions than when I was younger. Our Savior is always there for us. He is with us every step of the way. We just need to trust him and lean on him.
