Hi I'm Lutia Peseta

I was born in American Samoa, and was Raised in Hawaii. I grew up being a Mormon

About Me

I'm currently serving as a missionary in the Raleigh North Carolina mission. I previously lived in Laie, Hawaii and am so happy to be serving the Lord! I played Rugby and attended Kahuku High School and graduated in 2015. Like any other Samoan, I love to eat, you can just tell by looking at my profile pic. Anyways, Im a pretty chill guy, I mean thats what most people say, I some times love playing out doors but most of the time I'm either in the house watching TV, reading scriptures, sleeping, or out working.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, is the restored Kingdom Of Jesus Christ. But really I haven't had a testimony knowing if The Book Of Mormon was true or not. But it was not until my senior year in High School. My Goal after high school was to serve a full time Mission for "The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints", But then I asked myself "how will I serve a mission when I don't know for myself if The Book Of Mormon is true?" So then there was one day where I took the time on reading and pondering on The Book Of Mormon, and I've finished the whole thing, not in one day though, when it comes to books for me it would take a couple of days for me to finish it so. But Anyways, There is one Prophet from The Book Of Mormon named "Moroni" who leaves a promise close to the ending of The Book Of Mormon, and he says this "Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts. And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things". When I've read that part from The Book Of Mormon, I've felt an overwhelming feeling like as if someone was hugging me, but then at that moment, I knew that it was the Holy Ghost telling me to ask god, and I did. I've came to the conclusion that this church is true, and that it is His church restored back unto this earth again

How I live my faith

So I go to church every Sunday to partake of the sacrament and renew my covenants of what i have between me and the Lord. Not to brag, but i have not missed one day of church, except for when i get sick then eventually i stay home. But going to church is important, you learn more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to build your testimony of what you have about our Savior. Growing up In this Mormon Religion has blessed me tremendously through out my whole life.
