Hi I'm mhelg

I was baptized at Tumauini, Isabela Philippines when I'm 11. . I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints .

About Me

I love singing. I know a little bit playing guitar. I also love taking pictures. I'm A single adult and i already finished my studies.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon when I'm still 11 years old together with my family.. at that time, I still don't have testimony but as time goes by, when I grow up in the church, my Faith and testimony with God become stronger. He helps me to overcome all the trials in my life. I always feel his love and comfort. I am proud to be a Mormon because i know that it is the only true Church in Earth.

How I live my faith

Right now, my calling is Young Women President... I'm teaching during the Young Women class. We also work with the missionaries every Sunday :) We also do visiting teaching with the members.

What blessings can we receive through the gift of the Holy Ghost?

he Holy Ghost can bless your life in many ways. Christ promised His Apostles that the Holy Ghost would “teach you all things” (John 14:26) and “guide you into all truth” (John 16:13). He also said that the Holy Ghost “shall testify of me” (John 15:26). Likewise, the Holy Ghost can help you. Through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, you can recognize and understand truth and make right choices and inspired decisions. The Holy Ghost can inspire you with thoughts and ideas, warn you, and comfort you in times of sorrow. You may have already felt His influence at times in your life. That influence includes “love, joy, [and] peace” (Galatians 5:22).] Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

t is impossible to put into words the full meaning of the Atonement, which is the most important and most transcendent event in the history of the world. Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross, the Savior atoned for our sins. This is the good news for all people! We can’t fully understand how Jesus suffered for our sins. But we know that in the Garden of Gethsemane, the weight of our sins caused Him to feel such agony that He bled from every pore (Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-17). Later, as He hung upon the cross, Jesus again felt the weight of our sins even as He willingly suffered painful death by one of the most cruel methods ever known. Jesus the Christ, page 462 states, “It seems, that in addition to the fearful suffering incident to crucifixion, the agony of Gethsemane had recurred, intensified beyond human power to endure. In that bitterest hour the dying Christ was alone, alone in most terrible reality.” The Savior tells us: “For behold, I... have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer... even as I.” (Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-17) Show more Show less
