Hi I'm Kara

I grew up in Utah. I love the outdoors. I love instrumental music (I'm a trumpet player). But most important of all I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Kara. I was born and raised in the great state of Utah. I am the youngest of 5 children I have 2 brother and 2 sisters. I have recently graduated high school. I am an active member of the LDS church and I have been my whole life. I enjoy anything that has to do with the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, shooting, rock climbing and just about anything else you can think of. Music is and has been one of my greatest passions in life. I have played the trumpet for 8 years with multiple different musical groups one including my high school marching band.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church because of the happiness and promised blessings it brings me. There have been times in my life where I have not made the gospel a priority and I can see the difference it makes. I have a testimony of this gospel because I have felt it and I have seen it bless my life and other peoples live just like I know it can bless yours.

How I live my faith

The ways I think I live my faith is by simply serving those around me in all the ways I can. I have served in my ward as the ward chorister which includes selecting hymns for each Sundays Sacrament meeting. I have served in my young woman's class presidencies as well as volunteered in our wards primary classes (children from 4-12 years old). I feel that by serving others and blessing their lives I am serving God.
