Hi I'm Brenna

I grew up in Panguitch Utah, a town with no stoplight. I'm a state champion shot put thrower. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being active and staying involved. In high school I ran cross country, played volleyball, was a cheerleader, and also ran/threw in track while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I absolutely love my family and would rather spend time with them than anyone else. I love supporting them in their activities. Our family is big into wrestling and I love watching my brothers excel at that. I am going to college and am planning to go to medical school once done there. I love music. I love to sing, and play the piano and guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the church that has had all truths restored from Christ's primitive church on this earth today. I am a Mormon because this gospel brings me joy and peace. We have a living prophet who receives direct revelations from God and will always keep us on the right path. Many people think that there are too many rules that you have to follow, but really they are there to keep us happy and safe. We have the choice to follow or not. I am grateful to know that I can be with my family for eternity with Heavenly Father's plan of happiness, and strive every day to become better to solidify this. I am grateful that I have the opportunity to repent of my sins and utilize Jesus Christ's Atonement and return and live with Him. I am so thankful that the Prophet Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon as another testament to Jesus Christ's life and as a companion to the Bible. I love the gospel and I am thankful it has been restored in these latter days.

How I live my faith

As a teenager I served in our young women organization as a leader of our class. I enjoyed bringing friends to church with me. I live my faith by preparing to serve a full time mission. Growing up in a small town I know almost everyone. So serving a mission is a little scary for me because I am having to get out of my comfort zone and talk to people I have never met. I strive to keep the commandments and be a good example to my little brothers and sisters and others around me. I try to faithfully say my prayers and read my scriptures.
