Hi I'm Kent Rasmussen

I love to travel and spend time with my family. I have an amazing wife and five great kids.

About Me

I love to travel and spend time with my family. I have an amazing wife and five great kids. Some of my favorite things are spending time in Arizona's high country or the sands dunes riding quads or UTV's. Southern California is my favorite vacation spot. I also enjoy watching Arizona State University Football. I served a mission for the LDS church. I went to Billings Montana. I was mostly in Western Montana. I love Montana and the people that call it home. I meet my wife in high school. She was not a member of the LDS church but that did not matter to me. Before I left on my mission she decided that she would be baptized and became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS/Mormon). She has been a great example to me.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has helped me more then I can explain here. I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ like the Holy Bible is. The direction and support I have received for the church is amazing and blessed my life in so many ways. I know that Pres. Thomas S. Monson is the Prophet today. Listen or read to any General Conference talk and I am sure that you would agree with just about everything that was said. The Holy Ghost will testify to you that what you hear and learn is true. If you are not sure, pray and ask for yourself.

How I live my faith

I work with the youth (12-13 year old boys) in my church. My oldest son is in this group so I really enjoy spending time him doing scouting actives, events and any other actives our group does. I love being around these kids and watching them progress to become young men. Gospel lesson are always great discussions in class. Watching them learn the gospel is one of my favorite part of Church.
