Hi I'm Laura

I am from Colorado. I am an athlete and a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of six kids in which I am the only active sibling. My parents separated when I was very young and I lived with my mom until I went to college. Her testimony and strength has been my spiritual lifeline through hard times and I love her very much. I am currently a junior in college and love to be active in all things sports. When I'm not on a court or a field I have my nose stuck in a good book. I dabble in art and love to sketch and paint, but my favorite way to pass time is to spend it with the ones I love. I have seen my share of tragedy and triumph as I have trail blazed new paths for both my family and I. I am currently preparing to serve a mission and could not be more excited for this opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it what I need and because I know that this is the true church. I know that through this church it is possible that I can be with my family and loved ones after our time on this earth. I know what my time on the earth is meant for. I live every day knowing that my life matters and that I have a purpose. I am comforted by the knowledge that God loves me and always provides a way through troubling times, and by God's grace, he will make me whole and I will be able to return to live with Him.

How I live my faith

I have led many different youth groups in the church, but I live my faith everyday in every decision and thought I have. I strive to be the best person I can be and serve those I can. I will be spending 18 months of my life in Birmingham, Alabama sharing the wonderful news of this gospel!
