Hi I'm Grant Anderson

I grew up in Salt Lake City and am leaving to serve a full-time mission in San Fernando California. I like art. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in the church so I had to find my own testimony as I grew older and could no longer depend on my parents and grandparents beliefs. I always knew I would serve a mission, so I tried to live my life to be worthy and prepared for this event. My parents divorced when I was 8 and although it's been hard for me and my brother to share two homes... we have been able to stay strong through this. I appreciate how many people care about me and my family and all the love I have felt getting ready to serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were Mormons and so I grew up going to church from Day 1. I always knew this church was true by how I felt when I went to church. I can't deny the spirit and how it makes me feel. I am excited to share that with others on my mission.

How I live my faith

My biggest calling to date will be serving a full-time mission for my church. Growing up I did various things to serve in my local ward. I would prepare the bread and water for sacrament meeting and I would also take these things to invalids in our neighborhood who were too old or sick to make it to the meetings. I also worked hard to become an Eagle Scout and did many things to help other scouts get their eagle. I helped with meetings and taught when I could.
