Hi I'm Hunter

I come from a family of 7. I was born and raised in the Utah Valley. I have two younger siblings with Down Syndrome. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come a family of seven, the youngest two having Down Syndrome. I have spent my entire life in the Utah Valley, born and raised. I have attended a year at BYU, and am serving an LDS mission in Rosario, Argentina. I love singing, theater, video games, soccer, wake-boarding, making my niece and nephew laugh, and hanging out with my family and friends. I plan to graduate with a Masters or PhD in Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the faith and continue to live and follow the Lords gospel. I love this gospel and all the lessons I have learned. I personally have never had a question or a doubt that God lives, or that He has a hand in our lives. The gospel has helped me to identify that influence and feel and truly know the He loves me, He watches over me, and that He has a plan for me. I have no doubt that we are His children, and that no matter what, He will love us and will be waiting for us with open arms no matter how far we may stray from Him. I know that Christ was sent to earth to atone for whatever sins we may commit, and give us chance to be forgiven. I know that that same Spirit which helps us see the influence of God in our lives helped Joseph Smith to have the worthiness and faith to see God the Father and Jesus Christ. I know that the Lord gave Joseph the power to translate the Book of Mormon, so that we on the earth could have another testament of Christ, and have His complete gospel. I am firm in my beliefs, because I have prayed and received my own answers. I know that this gospel is true, and I am happy and eager to share it with whomever may be willing to listen. Because I want everyone to know the immense power and joy and love that comes from knowing the things that I do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day, just like anybody else. I am currently serving a mission in Argentina, Rosario. Living my faith is not only easy, but essential. As a disciple and messenger of Christ, I choose to be an example in everything I do. Through diligent service I show my love and desire to follow our Father in Heaven and hope to become like Him again. I love my Heavenly Father, and I love helping others to feel the same love and happiness that I get to experience on a daily basis.
