Hi I'm Jayden Stout

I grew up in Southern California. I'm currently on a mission in Billings, Montana. I play volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout my life, I have always been involved with sports. Around the age of 8 years old, I began playing baseball and immediately fell in love with the sport. I continued playing for the next 7 years, eventually becoming good enough to be selected for the local all-star team a couple of times. However, I stopped playing after my freshman year of high school, when I didn't make the team there. So instead, I switched to volleyball. There, I excelled. My height of 6'4" especially helped me to improve quickly and learn the sport. I ended up on the varsity team in the middle of my sophomore year of high school, and stayed there for the next three years. During this time, I worked hard in school with the goal in mind of attending BYU. During my senior year, I was admitted and proceeded to attend in the fall of 2015 while studying Mechanical Engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the gospel to be true.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life, I have always attended church. I was born a member, so I grew up surrounded by the teachings of the church. As a result, I have always had the notion I would serve a mission. Now, I am able to accomplish this by serving in the Billings, Montana mission.
