Hi I'm Bucky Bryner

I was born and raised in Delta, Utah. I'm a bit of a math nerd and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am the youngest out of my four siblings, who range in age from 21-32. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Pennsylvania Pittsburgh mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After my mission, I plan on attending Johns Hopkins University after I was accepted into their biomedical engineering program. I have always had a great love for learning and helping others discover their passion for learning. I spent a large portion of my time during school tutoring others and helping them to understand whatever subject they may be having troubles with. I have a great love for math, which showed in high school after having won three state math contests. I also love to spend my time helping and serving others, and was given a great opportunity to do so as I was serving as the Student Body President at Delta High. I love being outdoors, whether it's with my family, dogs, friends or myself. I have recently gained a love for writing calligraphy as well!

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were born into the LDS church, as well as my siblings and myself. This means I wasn't blessed to have an amazing conversion story that others may have had, but that in no way diminishes my faith of the gospel. I know for a fact and can testify that this is the true church of Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon was saved and given to us so that we may come to know of the full glory of his gospel. Understanding and feeling of God's love is what always reminds me why I am a part of His Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by diligently seeking to follow the teachings of the gospel. These include reading scriptures, such as the Book of Mormon, prayer, service, and many other such things. I have been a home teacher for 4 years with my neighbor, which has greatly prepared me for my mission. I am now currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which will bring me many opportunities to grow and strengthen my faith in Christ.
