Hi I'm Stacy Tofilau

I grew up in a beautiful Island call Samoa. I love playing volleyball. I also love to serve others and meet new people.

About Me

I really love playing sports. I love playing Volleyball and basketball. Im a female of 20 yearsold. I finished one year of college.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed enough to be born in the church. I was even more blessed to be born of such great parents who raised my siblings and I in the church. But eventhough they weren't strong in the church, Im still grateful for them. Through my primary years, and early part of Behives years, I was living life on a borrowed testimony- my grandparents testimony. I am very grateful for their strong and firm testimony because it served as a crutch for me to find my own testimony. I wanted to find out for myself if the the church was actually true. I heard my grandparents say it, my bishop say it, and everyone else say it in testimony meetings. My grandparent's example of living like Christ motivated me to do the same. Watching my grandparents go to stake temple night every week motivated me to live worthy so that someday I may enter the temple as well. I remember the first time I went inside the temple as a Behive with my ward for a Young Men/ Young Women's combined activity. We performed baptisms for the dead. The spirit was so strong and thats when I knew the church is true. The spirit confirmed to me the truthfulness of the gospel. Ever since that day, that testimony has kept me going. I've had some ups and downs in my life but so has everyone else. My testimony of Jesus Christ has kept me anchored down in this windy world. When my grandparents passed away, that couldn't stop me and my brothers to keep on going and being strong in the church. Until one day, it just hit my parents feelings of wanted to go to church with us as a family. It started one Sunday a month until they came mostly 3 Sundays in a month until they can't stop coming. Three years later, we were sealed in the Samoa Apia Temple and richly blessed my family in many ways. Because of my testimony, I have chosen to serve a full time mission..

How I live my faith

I was a secretary in the Primary. A Primary is where the little kids are. This was an amazing experience for me because seeing little kids and how they react back to me makes my testimony strong. It teaches me to be patience and also to be reverant.
