Hi I'm Ashlin

I'm a vocalist, a pianist, and a violinist. I'm working on a degree in Music Therapy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am attending a University and am Majoring in Music Therapy with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. I also play the piano, guitar, and violin. I love teaching piano and voice lessons. I love to be in musicals, either as an actor, or in the orchestra. Music is a huge part of my life, and so is the LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it has brought me so much happiness in my life. Whenever I'm feeling bad, I just need to remember that I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and that He loves all of us. I feel that it gives my life purpose and meaning. I don't know what I'd be doing or where I'd be without the direction and love I get from the Gospel. I also love the knowledge that I can be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I am in my ward choir, and currently play the piano for my ward when we sing hymns. I am living my faith by leaving my home and family to go on a mission for 18 months. I'm so excited to bring others to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ that has brought me so much joy and happiness.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Ashlin
Mormon missionaries proselyte because they're so excited to share the Gospel that they've learned to love so much. Missionaries leave their families and personal matters at home for either 18 or 24 months to share the Gospel wherever they are called to go, and in whatever language they are asked to speak and/or learn. They do this because they know the Doctrine is true, and they know that it will change the lives of the people they teach. Show more Show less
