Hi I'm Cameron

I grew up in San Diego. I love making things. I lettered in four sports and I hold the high jump record. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always had a passion for creating things. I have made houses, go-karts, mini-bikes, A land sailor, tree houses, ziplines, shoes, a digery-do, boats/sailboats, a satchel, a motorized longboard and many other things. I can ride a unicycle and I love slacklining. I love to make music. I wrote my own song. In high school I lettered in four sports, Water polo, Volleyball, Rugby, and Track. I hold the high jump record at my old high school at 6'7". I will be attending BYU after my mission. I hope to study some sort of engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had this strong belief in God and Jesus Christ. I decided to read The Book of Mormon on my own and to really read it. I knew that if The Book of Mormon was true that The Church of Jesus Christ would be true and that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I have always felt really embraced because of my slow reading, but in this case I took my time on every verse and chapter to really think of its significance. Every time I read, I prayed that I might know that The Book of Mormon was true. It took me a while but I eventually finished it and took Moroni’s challenge to ask about its truthfulness (Moroni 10:3-5). I went up to this hill by my house to finish the last few chapters and to pray about it. To be honest I was really nervous at what my answer would be. I realized that that so much depended on the truthfulness of this Book. But I kneeled down and asked God wether or not the Book was true. I waited and waited…. I began to get really frustrated with God, I wondered why I wasn’t getting some amazing spiritually experience. Eventually I decided to go home. As I walked down the hill I thought about how I would just keep going. I started to think about all that I knew about the Book of Mormon and how I felt every time I read it. Then it hit me! I already knew that the book of Mormon was true. I remembered all of the times that I read. I remembered the piece that I felt every time I read. Whenever I felt sad or overwhelmed I read The Book of Mormon and that gave me piece. I realize now that it was all in Gods timing. I Know the Book of Mormon is the word of God because I have read it and haveprayed about its truthfulness an I have received a witness from the Holy Ghost that it is true. Because of that i know that Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's true CHurch on the earth today.

How I live my faith

I have been the music director in my ward. I try to follow the example of Christ in all aspects of my life. I will be serving a two year mission in Argentina, Bahia Blanca for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
