Hi I'm Savanna

I play the fiddle, I am a black belt in Taekwon-Do, I love to laugh, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am the second oldest of five children. I love spending time with my family playing sports, board games, or just watching movies! I love to travel, and last summer I spent six weeks backpacking through Europe with my older sister. We travelled through Ireland, Switzerland, Italy, France, and England. I love music and have been playing the fiddle since I was 7 years old. I am a chocolate enthusiast, a lover of all things cuddly, and I love to laugh!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have grown up learning about Jesus Christ's gospel and His eternal plan. Over the years I have been able to progress in this gospel and strengthen my testimony through different experiences. There is one experience in particular that I will never forget. A few years ago I was going through a difficult time, and I desperately needed to know that I was loved and that my Heavenly Father knew me personally and that He was aware of my needs and the desires of my heart. I felt alone and like no one was there to hear me or to understand what I was going through. I prayed for comfort and to know that I was being watched over. As I prayed, I felt an overwhelming feeling of love and affection. It was like someone was wrapping their arms around me and telling me that everything was going to be okay. I knew without a doubt that God loved me unconditionally and that He would always love me. I am slowly comprehending the pain and agony that Jesus Christ suffered when He came to this earth. The more I learn about His sacrifice and that He would die for me and for all of our sins, the more I want to share that knowledge with others. I know that because Jesus Christ suffered for my sins, I can be washed clean of all of my mistakes and eventually live with my Heavenly Father again. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that as we live the commandments of God, we will be greatly blessed.

How I live my faith

I look for opportunities to serve those around me in my community as well as in my church. I look for people who need a friendly smile of encouragement, or who just need to feel that they are loved. Jesus Christ loves all mankind, and my goal is to see the people around me as God's children so that I can love them as He does.
