Hi I'm A Hatch

I was born and raised in Arizona. I'm serving the God I love and for the people of Alabama Birmingham. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For the longest time I've struggled with learning in school, I often escaped my stresses about school by drawing and playing piano. I've learned that putting my trust in God doesn't take my burdens away but just made them easier. With help from others and from God I was able to improve my speech problems. I still read and speak slower than most people , but at least I now can have a normal conversation. God has always helped me through my trials and the best thing I can do for him is to be a witness of him and search for service opportunities.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that God loves you and I both, it's overwhelming to think of how great was the sacrifice was for Christs life to save a person like me who is unclean, disobedient, and hard hearted. But that is not how they see us, much rather than seeing the person we are they see the person we can be. They accept that we are humans and cannot be perfect with every action and every thought, they accept us for trying our best to follow in the example Christ has shown us. I cannot force the knowledge of God's love in someone's heart but if you ask with sincerity and purpose "God do you love me? Am I your son/daughter?" I promise you that the spirit will bear witness of this truth. And the church grows from the foundation of that knowledge. I've learned to turn to God in prayer not just in hard times but in great times too and I hope that you too will find your purpose as a child of God and Recognise his hand's in your life, I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Ever since I was 12 years old I was always in the youth presidency. I didn't know what I was doing for the longest time nor did I know my purpose of being in the presidency. A couple of years I was put in a class of older kids The brother teaching the class always asked this question, "where have you seen the hand of God in your life this week?" I wasn't understanding what he meant, we couldn't see the hand of God in our life. People started giving answers like "I could feel the spirit so strong at priesthood camp" or "I was conforted for a test I was taking." I never thought about God help me with little things like that and it didn't come right away but I realised God was aiding me. I was searching for my purpose and it is to help others realise they too are receiving aid from God. And I was able to reach out to those who didn't understand and were frustrated because I too stood where they were standing. But the important thing is that we don't need a calling to have a reason to serve we just have to recognise God's hand touching our lives and help him touch the lives of others.
