Hi I'm Peter

I doodle, I program, I read books. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family really enjoys reading, so I was brought up with a love for books. I've always been a little different from my peers. I always seem to start being interested in things after everyone else. I've never been one for sports, e- or otherwise, though I'm not particularly bad at them. I'm the least intelligent child in my family, but that's not an insult because all of my sisters are geniuses. I always try to help others, and I feel bad when I fail at responsibilities, but I refuse to give up. I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Tampa, Florida Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Our Heavenly Father loves us. That's why He sent His Son, to redeem us, to give us a path whereby we may return to Him. No matter what we've done, He loves us. No matter how much our souls writhe because of our sins, no matter how long we've forgotten Him for. No matter what, there is a way. A way for us to come out of whatever deep, dark pit we've dug for ourselves and see the sun. I'd forgotten that, but now I recognize the help and tender mercies I've had all along my path. Now, I want to share that joy with others. Joseph Smith did see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. God does give us guidance in these days through His prophets and the Holy Ghost. There is a true path, whereby we can all be redeemed and receive the fullness of joy! All of us! We just need to see His hand reaching out to us. Grab hold of it. Let Him guide you out of the darkness. I know these things for myself. THAT is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to read the Book of Mormon, Bible, and other books of scripture every day. I look for every opportunity to help others, and I want to give back to my Savior, Jesus Christ, who has helped me through so many trials and over so many of my shortcomings. He lives, and through the Spirit, my leaders, and my parents, He has guided me to improve much more than I thought possible. I know that this Gospel is for everyone, and that you must choose for yourself to accept it. I'm currently serving as an LDS Missionary, so my current full-time job is to get out of the way and let the Holy Ghost testify through me; through what I think, say, and do; that this Church is Christ's one true church on the earth and show others that we can all enter into the path to return to our Heavenly Father. I may slip up sometimes, but with the Lord on my side, I will endure to the end, and help myself and others see the joy in it.
