Hi I'm Reagan

Through overcoming trials in my life, I have learned so strongly that my Father in Heaven loves me and that I am a proud Mormon.

About Me

Here is a little bit about me. I have been tumbling and cheering for 15 years of my life. I love to be active. I know a lot of people might not think the same but from my years of cheerleading I have learned so many things about myself and others around me that I will keep with me for the rest of my life. I am a tumbling coach for kids of ages that range from 3 to 18 years old. Being a coach has taught me how to love people even if you don't particularly want to. I love being around people and using skills and talents I love to bless and improve their lives. Some of my other hobbies are hiking, road biking and most importantly, reading. I could spend my whole day reading a good book. My favorite book to read is The Book Of Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Well, let me just tell you what brought me to where I am today. My junior year in high school when I was only 16, my younger brother tragically died in a snowmobile accident. He was only 10 years old. It was two days after Christmas. I was heartbroken. We were the closest out of all my siblings and I had never felt so lost in my life. People were always at my house. My parents were so sad. People would act different toward me when I went to school. All of this was going on while I was trying to figure out who I was and what my purpose was on this earth. Sadly, I took wrong paths and got lost. I made choices that took me down dark roads. I was in so much pain and felt so much sorrow that I wouldn't even look at pictures of my cute little brother. Not long after my brothers death, Jeffrey R Holland gave a conference talk that saved my life. He told a story about two brothers that went rock climbing without any harnesses or safety precautions. (Where Justice, Love, and Mercy Meet. April 2015) If you haven't, go read it. Like he said in his talk, I was standing at a road that split in two ways. One leading up to a brighter better place and the other to a dark despair that would be almost impossible to survive. I took a long look at myself and told myself I needed to get my crap together before I lost it, literally. I won't lie to you, it has not been easy. It was the hardest thing aside from loosing my brother that I have ever been through. But the blessings that have been showered upon me and my family is incredible. I can't wait for the day my family with be together again in heaven. I gained my testimony though hard work and love for my Savior. I have been called to the Eugene, Oregon mission and I'm so happy to say my angel brother will be there with me every step of the way. I couldn't be more excited to help the people there who might have or are going through the same trials I went though. I am a Mormon because it has made me who I am today.

How I live my faith

Every week I attend my church meetings but I know that living my life with faith goes beyond weekly church meetings. During the week I do my best to read my scriptures every morning before I start my day. I chose to listen to conference talks or my scriptures while I do my makeup in the mornings. Every Wednesday I attend the temple with my mom for temple sessions. I love the gospel and the blessings that it gives me so I try during the week to do everything I can to invite those blessings into my every day life.
