Hi I'm Connor

I grew up in Iowa for most of my life. I just graduated from high school and I have been a mormon all my life.

About Me

I love to be active. I have always been really active in sports since I was young. I got my black belt in karate when I was seven, I've played baseball for 13 years mostly playing shortstop and pitcher, and I also love to play soccer and golf. I just graduated High School and am now going to serve a mission in South Korea for 2 years. After that I plan to go to college and then hopefully medical school. I have had the opportunity to do a lot of wonderful things through the church and the scouting problem. This summer our venture crew went on a canoeing trip to boundary waters for 5 days, the summer before that we went on a 50 mile backpacking trip along the ridge of lake superior. I have done biking trips as well and many scout camps. Through the church I have been to church camps such as EFY where I met many other youth who live my same faith and was able to have fun with. Countless Ward activities that has given me great friends to grow up with and great spiritual experiences.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason I am a Mormon is very simple. I have had too may experiences in my life that testify the church is true to ever deny it. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is the true word of God. I feel so much peace whenever I read and it allows me to feel the spirit and learn things that help me in my life. I have also had the privilege of seeing how the gospel affects someone life directly. I was able to teach and be an example for my best friend who I recently baptized. I saw the change in her life from the beginning to now and the main differences that I see in her life are happiness and sense of direction. That experience alone has testified to me of the validity of this church and its doctrine.

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday that I can. I attended youth group activities when I was younger and currently I am out of those amazing programs. I am an active home teacher with my dad as my companion, we visit our families that our in our ward at least monthly and give them a lesson and make sure they are taken care of.
