Hi I'm Aaron

I'm from Ghana and I love fufu. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just completed the university and I want to serve a mission. I love to read, cook and sing. I'm learning how to play the guitar too, I have a great interest in agriculture and someday i want to be a farmer.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ because it belongs to the only man who knows the way back to where we came from, even Jesus Christ. I have chosen to be a Mormon even though i was born into this church because this is the only church with the Lords approval, this is the only church which has the same power and authority which the Lord Jesus Christ used in his mortal journey. I know not of any church whose teachings and beliefs talk about where i came from, my purpose in this life and even where i will someday go. I know with all my heart that this church belongs to Jesus Christ Himself, He directs His church, He sustains His church and He loves all who will covenant with Him to obey Him. I know that Jesus Christ lives and he loves all of Gods children and he earns for us to be like him. I know that the only true and approved Prophet in these last days is the man Thomas Spencer Monson. I love him and I will obey his counsel. I know that the Book Of Mormon is a guide and a gift for our mortal journey, it is approved by God and sets out what we can do to gain happiness in this life and eternal life in the world to come. I know all these are true in the hallowed name of my master, friend and king even, Jesus Christ, AMEN.

How I live my faith

My current ward is very interesting and filled with lovely people who love the gospel. In my previous ward I served as an assistant to the ward mission leader. We had inspiring moments with our less active members and friends when we went to visit them, or help them with their house work. We organized firesides for members to learn more about the gospel and to build their faith. There have been wonderful times with new converts who accept the gospel after a long period of perseverance and trust. As a ward missionary I was happy when one Sunday after church we were able to baptize an old man who was physically handicapped but loved the gospel. Initially it wasn't easy teaching him as he couldn't speak english so we had a translator and after a long period of teaching he accepted to be baptized. On the day of Baptism he didn't show up early for sacrament meeting but we had hope and faith in Jesus Christ that he will be quicken to come and make a covenant with his Lord and he came and our joy was full. Indeed the lord listens to our prayers and He will always help those who push His work forward

In whom should we have faith?

Aaron
Our faith should be centered only on the Master Jesus Christ because he alone knows all things just like our Heavenly Father. Faith is a strong belief of things we hope for which we don't have or can't see and since only God knows all things we have to have faith in only Him. Our faith in God will help us to stay strong in hard times and draw closer to GOD. Show more Show less
