Hi I'm Jonah

I live in Utah. I go to Brigham Young University. I'm serving as a missionary in Boston, Massachusetts. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like playing many sports like lacrosse, tennis, golf, water skiing, wake boarding, snow skiing, and snowboarding. I am in the Mechanical Engineering program at BYU in Provo, Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

When I see the things that the church does, and I hear the words that faithful Mormons speak, and I learn of their beliefs and practices, I see the "fruits" of this church, and I see that it is all good. This confirms to me that this is a true church. It produces good people who are compassionate, humble, loving, smart, and virtuous. They stand out boldly in a world which is so obviously full of wickedness, pride, and hate. They stand out just as Jesus stood out. Most importantly, I know that this is THE true church because of the Book of Mormon. I have felt powerful feelings when I read it, and those feelings confirm to me that it is all real, it is all good, and that I must play a part in it. I know that those feelings were not created by myself, but that they came from the Holy Ghost. I have read The Book of Mormon and have prayed to know if it is true, and I have received the answer that it is true. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is the Living Son of God, that He suffered for my sins, that He restored His church on the Earth through Joseph Smith, and that THIS is that true church.

How I live my faith

I have participated in my ward by being a leader of the young men in our church activities, camp-outs, hikes, and service projects.
