Hi I'm Laren

I grew up in Utah, and I really love music. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a recent high school graduate and avid shoe-wearer. I was involved in the band and the choir, and I loved both. I really love music in general- I play the piano and the trumpet, and I love listening to music. I also enjoy playing sports- especially soccer and ultimate frisbee. I love to mountain bike when I get the chance, and I also enjoy hiking and backpacking. Basically nature is the best. I also have several hobbies- I yoyo, I love to read, and I throw the occasional boomerang. I love my family and spending time with them. I am going on a full time LDS mission to Minnesota, and I'm super pumped about that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and have been a member all my life. I have stayed strong during my time in the church, and I love the Gospel. I have gained so much strength through it, and as I learn to rely on my Savior, I become even stronger. I know that this gospel is true and that it makes people better. While many people believe that it is impossible to really change, I know that this gospel does change people for good. I love my Savior and know that He died for all of us. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel in these days, and that we have a true and living prophet on the earth today. I am so grateful that families are eternal and that I can be with my family forever and become like God.

How I live my faith

I am going on a full time church mission to Minnesota. I am very excited to serve the people of the North Star State and share what I know to be true with them. I will be teaching them about the gospel for two years, through summer 2018. As I go out on my mission, I hope to teach with passion and conviction. I love my family and try to be an example to them, as that is one of my most important callings in this church.
