Hi I'm Hazel

I'm a convert of two years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work part-time as a cashier. Love to hang out with my friends, go out to dinner with them and go to church events together. I'm a grandmother of 4 beautiful grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel. I love being a Mormon. I have chosen this church because I believe this to be the true church. That God and Jesus did talk to Joseph Smith in the Garden. I believe that I can be with my family forever. I want to live the rest of my life helping people to know Jesus and the Book of Mormon, without it today my life would be a mess. I was so lost before and now that I have found a family in the church I also have reunited with my own family. That I am so grateful for.

How I live my faith

I love the children and I was a primary teacher for the 7 and 8 year old class. Getting them ready for baptism is such a joy. Going to someone's home and visiting with them is called "visiting teaching". I love talking to the other ladies in our ward and learning what is new from them.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

God promises great physical and spiritual blessings to those who follow the Word of Wisdom. Our body is a precious gift from God. To help keep our minds bodies healthy and strong, God gave a law of health to Joseph Smith in 1833. This law is known as the Word of Wisdom. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

We live the way everyone does. We focus a lot on family. Whether it be in our own household or in the church. We love our family. We help each other with service if someone is in need. We keep our mind set on how God and Jesus and how they would want us to be. Show more Show less
