Hi I'm Josh

I grew up in Utah. I'm a missionary serving in Brazil. I enjoy fishing, hiking, soccer and basketball and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a big brother. I love being outside. I like to fish and hike. I enjoy traveling and love the ocean. I am serving a mission in Brazil and am planning on attending college afterward. I love music and love to sing. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God is real and loves His children and wants all of us to return to live with Him again. I know that through faith in Him and by keeping His commandments, I can live with Him again. I know that following the commandments brings real, lasting happiness and peace in this life. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and the sins of the whole world. I know that because of His Atonement, I can repent and be clean in the sight of God. Jesus Christ has a perfect knowledge of our pains, weaknesses and suffering, and knows perfectly how to heal, strengthen and lift us. I am serving a mission to Brazil so I can bring the joy of this message to those who haven't heard it yet and bring them to a knowledge of God, Jesus Christ and their infinite love for every one on this earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fulfilling my callings in the church and devoting myself to service to others. I served as an assistant to the bishop in my ward. As part of that calling, I would take the sacrament to members who were sick or unable to attend church. That service blessed my life as I was able to bring the sacrament to those who otherwise would not have been able to have it. I was able to witness firsthand the joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ can bring.
