Hi I'm Jordon

I grew up in Big Bear, California. Non-denominational Christian. Then I moved up to Idaho and the missionaries knocked on my door!

About Me

Like I said I grew up in Big Bear California as a non-denominational christian. I lived with my mom, and we didn't always have a roof over our head and she didn't always have the best boyfriends, but she made it possible to get through the day. When I got older I moved to Idaho with my Dad, who was once a member, but became inactive. One day the missionaries knocked on my door, and now I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because this church is true. I love this church because I am welcomed, and loved. I am a Mormon because I found out for myself, not from people telling me, but from my own personal prayers, and I know that if anyone out there wants to find out for themselves, they can.

How I live my faith

This gospel has made the biggest change in my life. Not only full of loving, hardworking, and gentle people, but this gospel is full of truth, and knowledge. I would invite anyone out there to have the missionaries come to your house, and for you to pray to find out whether this church is true for yourself! James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not: and it shall be given him."

What is faith?

Jordon
Faith, according to Hebrews 11:1, " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Faith is often mistaken as a synonym for "Believing", but it is not. Faith does require belief, but it also requires action, for "Faith without works is dead". What that means is if we don't put action towards our beliefs, then it isn't faith. If you aren't willing to kneel and pray to God, then you might believe in prayer, but you don't have faith in it. This is just one example, but faith is an act of both belief, and action working together. Show more Show less
