Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in Tennessee. I love to hang out with my friends, I like to sleep, and I love to laugh.

About Me

I am currently serving a mission in Vancouver, Canada. I have always wanted to serve a mission, so I am happy that my dream is being fulfilled. I love to play the piano when I see one. However, I can't read the notes; I play by ear, which is more fun in my opinion. Playing basketball and soccer is always fun for me as well. I will be attending Brigham Young University, or BYU, after my mission. I am super excited to go to BYU with my friends and to start making a career for myself in either dentistry or business.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the Savior's love for me as I follow the Gospel taught in this church. Every time I talk to others about faith and examples of it, I feel the Holy Ghost reside in me, which I love to feel. Of course, I have the choice to not attend church, to go and live a fun and reckless life, but I feel true happiness and hope as I abide by the Savior's teachings. I love the people and the sincerity that resonates each time I go to church, and I especially love how this church teaches that because Heavenly Father loves me so much, my family and I can and will be together forever, even past death. I have a testimony of the truth of the Gospel taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It brings me true happiness, hope, and a love for my Savior and Heavenly Father. I know that I will see my Heavenly Father again, with my family side by side with me forever. I say so in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

Before I was a missionary, I served in leadership positions with the youth groups at my church. I helped coordinate events, service activities, and spiritual meetings to better fortify our youth groups' faith in Jesus Christ. Every Sunday, I would go to church for three hours, then I would go out with the missionaries of my area and teach people the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also an Eagle Scout, which consisted of several hours of service and helping out my community.
