Hi I'm Justin Winterholler

I'm 18 years old; I'm on a mission in Indianapolis,Indiana. Born in Lovell,Wyoming, I grew up in Idaho Falls, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a hyper kid, so I would always be playing and running around. Anything that interests me, even for a short while, is all that I'm about. I love basketball, swimming, wakeboarding, and pizza. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Indianapolis, Indiana, and I love it. I have 4 siblings, and I'm the youngest. I have three older sisters, one older brother, and a black lab.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I found out for myself who God was. I had heard of people trying to "find God" or Jesus, but I hadn't known what they meant until high school. I was lost and confused about what I should believe, because so many of the people that I thought were strongly religious mormons fell into bad habits, sins, and ideas, yet they went to church and had a great spirit. I realized after searching and asking that God had never left, and was so easy to "find." I love this gospel. The Old Testament, New Testament, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine and Covenants, they're all so very true. This is the truly God's church on this Earth.

How I live my faith

I hadn't known for myself the tender mercies of the Lord in my life until a few years ago, when I decided to quit messing around and find God, someone who truly loves me. For all of my faults and failures, He was always there, and always will be. I go to church every Sunday, even if I'm traveling, and I love the quiet but loving spirit that comes in sacrament meeting the most.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Justin Winterholler
I came to know Heavenly Father or God through sincere prayer. I came to know because I was in a bad spot in my life, and I desperately needed answers. When I thought all was lost, I got down, on my knees, and prayed to God with everything I had. I told Him everything that I was feeling, what I wanted to know, and what I would do if I got those answers. And I did get those answers. The Holy Ghost revealed those truths to me, and comforted me and gave me hope for the future, that as long as I trusted in God and his plan, that I would be alright. Show more Show less
