Hi I'm Sydney

I grew up in Sandy, Oregon, United States. I will be serving in the Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I attended my first year at college. I am currently not set on what I want my major to be. I live on a small farm and own chickens, cows and goats. I am the second out of four children. I love playing racquetball and golf. I love being around animals and nature. I enjoy hiking and observing the beautiful and wonderful things our Heavenly Father has created.

Why I am a Mormon

There are a lot of things in this world that are difficult and hard to deal with. Being a Mormon I have noticed that life isn't as bad as those around me. Because I follow the guidelines that the prophets have given to us through revelation my life is not hard. I don't have to worry about becoming a slave to drugs and alcohol. I am able to be around people who have a common belief and who are striving to be righteous just like me once a week. I know that I have a Father in Heaven that loves and cares about me and wants the best for me. I know that we are here on this Earth for a reason and purpose. We should be thankful for what we have and always remember that we are always loved and never forgotten.

How I live my faith

I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and will be leaving my family and everything I am comfortable with to serve the people in Ecuador. I am excited and am grateful to have the opportunity to serve.
