Hi I'm Sarah

I love to sing, dance, and read. I'm a Mormon. :)

About Me

I love singing, dancing, reading, playing the piano, and painting. I also love musicals! I have three brothers and one sister and they are my best friends. I've been called to serve in the West Virginia, Charleston mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church to loving parents who taught me the gospel, but I continue to follow His gospel because I KNOW the church is true. My testimony wasn't born out of one single experience, but many small experiences. We know we are taught "Precept upon precept, line upon line; here a little, and there a little." Isaiah 28:110. As I grew up facing trials, as we all do, I could feel Christ with me through everything. The Holy Ghost has testified to me many times the truth of what I've been taught. I have built my testimony on a foundation of truth that can never be moved. I remember one experience from when I was about six years old. It was a Sunday, and in church that day my teachers had told me to go home and pray to know if what we had been taught was true. As I got home, I went to my room and knelt down and asked God if what I had been taught was true. The answer was immediate and sure. It was as if a voice that wasn't a voice at all, more like a feeling of peace and comfort, was telling me "Sarah, of course it is true. You already know this." That was the beginning. I KNOW that if we have questions we can take them to God and He WILL answer them. I KNOW that Christ Atoned for our sins because He loves us. I KNOW that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God now in these latter days. I KNOW that The Book of Mormon is a book of God, translated through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know all of these things because I have come to know by myself through the power of the Holy Ghost. No other thing has brought me so much joy. I have always known, and I will always know.

How I live my faith

I'm preparing to serve a mission in West Virginia and I can't wait! In two weeks I'll be serving a full time mission to share the gospel that brings me so much joy.
