Hi I'm Kyle Sorenson

I grew up in Henderson, Nevada and I am currently serving a mission in Ecuador! I enjoy singing, sports and camping. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I recently just graduated from High School and was very involved at my school. I was in numerous choirs, played sports and was a member of a few clubs. I absolutely love camping, hiking, singing, playing any kind of sports and spending time with my family. Before I went on my mission, I was employed at In-N-Out Burger and I absolutely loved it. It has taught me very good work ethic and how to endure to the end (of my shift). I have two sisters, one brother and a golden retriever named, Shadow.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is one of the few things that helped me through my parents divorce. During the first stages of the divorce, I was to myself and got in trouble a lot at school. I couldn't really find myself until I met my bishop when we moved. He completely changed me and gave me a new aspect on life. I know this church is true because of the impact and simplicity of this religion. I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and he was a keystone to our religion as well. This religion means the world to me and I will stick to it for eternity. It has made me grow into a young man that I can only dream of. I am forever grateful for all my religion has done for me and will live my life righteously in order to live with my Heavenly Father again someday.

How I live my faith

I am very active in my church and ward. Before I moved houses, I was the First Assistant in the group of young men I had church with and loved it. I was always in charge of BYC (Bishop's Youth Committee). I have grown up in a divorced home since I was 12 or 13, and so I did home teaching with some fathers in my ward and it was cool hearing different stories from families and sharing my testimony. I have been doing missionary splits for a long time as well!
