Hi I'm Dylan Wyatt

I build robots. I love making people laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

To be honest, I'm just a normal kid. I love being with my friends and family, eating food, playing games, and listening to music. I love going to school to learn new things. I ended up going to an early college high school which allowed me to get an Associate's degree before graduating high school. While going to school, I competed in several robotics competitions. Eventually, I plan on studying nanorobotics in Utah. Right now, I'm serving a mission in Phoenix, Arizona (best mission) and thank Heavenly Father every day I'm able to.

Why I am a Mormon

I may have been born and raised within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but just like someone who has not, I have been converted. I am a firm believer that just because someone grew up a specific way, they are not predestined to follow it. We are given a choice every moment and I choose to be a Saint of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Many times it can be difficult to not give into peer pressure or societal "norms". However, knowing that what I am doing is what I'm supposed to do. It's what He wants. That is what helps me find peace and happiness that cannot be found anywhere else.

How I live my faith

I've held a few youth leadership positions for those who were around my age at the time. I also either attend or help staff several leadership seminars in my area. Although I might not give a traditional lesson or say a quote verbatim, I strive to help others the best I can. It might be simple service, or it could be answering a difficult question someone might have. Regardless, I do my best to always be ready and continually prepare. I feel if Jesus wanted to teach us one thing, it would be for us to live our faith. We area church of action. We believe that faith without works is dead. Furthermore, I feel luck isn't random. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity. So, I'm doing my best to ready myself for opportunities to help others. It isn't about me. It's about Him.
